We had the most amazing Mother's Day Afternoon on Monday, celebrating our mums and the other special women in our lives. Students proudly hosted their special guests, guiding them through a variety of engaging activities. From a silent disco and painting to bracelet making, photo booth fun, tiara creations, "minute to win it" games, nail painting, sports, Lego and construction – there was something for everyone to enjoy!Guests also were treated to a lovely afternoon tea, and we were delighted to have Little Miss Daisy on site, keeping everyone refreshed with delicious beverages throughout the afternoon.A highlight of the day was the beautiful devotion hosted by our Reception FK class who shared their favourite things about their mums. What a day for netball at the Riverland Carnival!Our girls gave it their all and had a fantastic day on the court. LLS Team 1 finished with 3 wins and 2 losses, placing 5th overall. LLS Team 2 wrapped up with 2 wins and 3 lossesA huge shoutout to former LLS legends Bailey Hahn and Arabella Pannell for generously giving up their time to coach. Our girls are all set and ready to hit the courts today at the Riverland Netball Carnival - let’s go LLS!Throwing it back to Wednesday when some of our fierce Year 6s brought their A-game to the staff vs students lunchtime netball match. It was a hard-fought battle right to the final buzzer, with the staff just sneaking away with the win!If that game was anything to go by, we’re in for a big day of passion, hustle, and plenty of goals.Good luck to all our teams. Throwing it back to Wednesday when some of our fierce Year 6s brought their A-game to the staff vs students lunchtime netball match. It was a hard-fought battle right to the final buzzer, with the staff just sneaking away with the win!

If that game was anything to go by, we’re in for a big day of passion, hustle, and plenty of goals.
