What an afternoon! 🎄✨ Eight of our classes (over 160 students) headed over to Riverview today, armed with big smiles, bigger voices, and a whole lot of Christmas spirit. From the upbeat fun of Jingle Bell Rock and Aussie Jingle Bells to the peaceful harmonies of Away in a Manger and Joy, our students sang a little bit of everything. Some toes tapped, some hands clapped, and more than a few hearts melted. Moments like these remind us how lucky we are to share our Christmas season with such wonderful neighbours. The students at LLS have been celebrating the Deaflympics that have been held in Tokyo over the past two weeks. At break times, students have been playing badminton and soccer in the LIFE Centre using only Auslan to communicate. They have learnt signs and incorporated these in their game play.
