Did you know that turtles are an important local species, acting as a vacuum to help maintain the health of waterways? Today our Young Environmental Leaders - Nate, Jesse, Aria, Elijah and Nate - attended a Landscape SA leaders day at Camp Kedron along the beautiful shores of Lake Bonney. Students learnt from various experts in the field of turtle conservation and especially enjoyed searching for turtle nests and holding a baby turtle.
