On Friday, our school proudly took part in Clean Up Australia Day, rolling up our sleeves to care for our local streets and school grounds. ♻️🌿Caring for our environment is part of caring for God’s creation and taking responsibility for the world He has entrusted to us.

Our Toy Story–inspired float has been crowned Best Disney Themed Float for the 2026 Loxton Mardi Gras, and we couldn’t be more excited! 🏆 What a huge success!Every costume was absolutely amazing. Thank you to all our incredible families and staff who helped us “fill the toy box” and made sure no toy was left behind!
A massive thank you to our wonderful committee and extra staff who gave up their time to coordinate the float, create decorations and pull everything together on Friday night. Many hands made light work and what a masterpiece it became!
Special shout out to Neil Thiele for building our incredible toy box over the past weeks, and to Joanne Hondow and Sally Thiele for their support. We are so appreciative of your hard work, not just this year, but every year. You’ve taken us to infinity and beyond with your dedication!
We also want to acknowledge the parents and community members who stepped in when we needed some last-minute changes. Watching everyone spring into action was nothing short of heroic. Buzz Lightyear would be proud!
As Woody says, “You’ve got a friend in me.” And that’s exactly what today showed… an amazing community supporting each other. ... See MoreSee Less

How blessed are we to gather together as a school community to commemorate Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent.In our Lutheran tradition, Ash Wednesday marks the start of the season of Lent which is a time of repentance, reflection and renewal as we focus our hearts on Christ. Lent is a 40-day journey where we prepare for Easter, remembering Jesus’ death and celebrating His resurrection.
Pastor Jason reminded us that during Lent we can prepare our hearts for Easter in different ways like reading God’s Word, spending time praying, serving others and reflecting on the great love Jesus has shown us.
Students were invited to have a small ash cross placed on their forehead or hand as a reminder that we belong to God, that we can say sorry and turn back to Him when we make mistakes, and that our hope and joy are found in Jesus.
May God bless you throughout this Lenten journey. ... See MoreSee Less

Our school community enjoyed a delicious start to the lead-up to Lent as we celebrated Shrove Tuesday, the traditional feast before the fast. Historically, Christians would use up ingredients like eggs, milk and sugar before the simpler season of Lent began… and what better way to do that than with pancakes! With over 300 pancakes flipped, stacked and served, it was a busy (and tasty!) morning. A huge thank you to our fantastic volunteers: Sally, Luke, Kerrianne, Lauren, Matt, Tom, Jenni, Chloe, John and Amber, for making it all happen.
It was a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, share a meal and prepare for the special season ahead. ... See MoreSee Less
