Our Year 6 Environment Leaders were absolutely buzzing after an amazing day at the Young Environment Leaders Day on Wednesday 25th March, hosted by Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board! 🐝🌼They got the chance to grow their knowledge about important pollinators and flowering plants, and dug into some hands-on fun, creating bee hotels and insect watering stations to help our tiny environmental heroes thrive. They also got busy planning a new activity to bring back to school called “Precious Plants.” We’re so proud of the way they’re helping our school community blossom into a more sustainable future! 🌍💚 ... We had an awesome day at Glassey Park, Berri for the Hockey 5s Carnival!With three teams competing, all players showed great skill and teamwork across the day. A highlight was two of our teams facing off in the gold medal match, bringing home both gold and silver, and our third team just narrowly missing out on bronze.A big thank you to Mr Wagner for coordinating, bus driving and coaching, Mrs Mitchell for her support with coaching, Todd Kitto for organising the carnival and our fantastic parent supporters. ...
