Last Friday, our Year 2 students went on an excursion to Mildura! It was a fun day of tenpin bowling, lunch in the playground and swimming in the wave pool. We would like to thank the staff at Sunraysia Tenpin and Mildura Waves and Aquatic Centre. We would also like to thank the parents who came along to help out and Paul for driving the bus. ... This week a group of our students participated in the Makers Empire showcase event for the Naturally Brave challenge. Our school was one of a small selection to work through this 3D design project, focused on developing ideas that could support communities during or after a Natural Disaster. Olive, Anna and Evelyn shared their designs with the other schools and a number of industry representatives.We are very proud of your efforts and the manner in which you represented our school community. ... Yesterday, our school had a special visit from the one and only Peter Combe! From Clicketty Cane to some fresh new jams, he had everyone singing, clapping, and dancing like it was the ’80s all over again! The kids were wiggling like jelly and the parents were bopping like bananas—we’re pretty sure some of them were reliving their own childhoods!
